Program

Guru Gita: We encourage you to start the day with us and prepare your mind and energies by chanting the Guru Gita from 5.30 to 7.00 am.

Morning Yoga & Breakfast: If you like you can already warm up and exercise your body in our morning yoga classes at our Yoga Deck from 7.15 to 8.15 am. Breakfast is from 8.45-9.15 am. Contact our office separately if you would like breakfast but do not already have a room with us for the night.

Workshops: This year the retreat workshops are made up of key elements that lend to being and staying well.  Each of our guest teachers have been specially selected by Sri Vasudeva and have spent many years under his personal guidance in the teachings of Mahayoga as taught by him.  With this as their foundation, they have continued to develop themselves as professionals in their own fields of wellness.

The morning sessions will be from 10 am to 12.30 pm and all are opened and closed by Sri Vasudeva with a guided meditation. Sri Vasudeva tells us that ‘the practice of meditation is the one Universal practice that can transform our consciousness, it can help us to know more and more of who we really are and it can take us to optimal well being.’ He personally takes us on this inner journey, gifting to each inner stability, abundant joy and tremendous peace.

Breath is the essence of life; it is the first thing we do when we are born and it is the last thing we do when we die, yet are we aware of our breath during our lifetime?  Prana (life force energy) links our body, mind and spirit. Regular practice of pranayama grounds us into the present, relieves stress, and replenishes our adrenals to feel balanced and energized.

Krishnapriya has been studying Mahayoga for many years with Sri Vasudeva and has spent extensive time studying and being in service at the ashram.  She went on to specialize in the practices of pranayama and currently leads the pranayama segment at the weekly Blue Star healing circle.

Yoga has become well known for its many benefits, but how can you use this knowledge to really engage in a daily practice that works for you? Together in this workshop we explore the hidden elements of yoga asana. Ved takes you through a guided practice of a select series of asana that you can practice every day. All skill levels are welcome.

Ved began his training at the Blue Star and pursued further study of classical Hatha Yoga in India. He is well established as a yoga teacher with a difference in the local community and is dedicated to helping others pursue wellness through their own practice. He imbues holistic and multidimensional aspects of yoga in every class.

Your healing journey is sacred to you and is part of who you truly are. In this workshop, you are guided to uncover the healer within. Tap into your own healing connection with your inner being. You are destined for well being, your true self knows the way; this workshop begins to clear that path and open your cells to sustained vitality.

Anupriya has been an avid practitioner in the healing arts for many years.  Her journey began in her meeting Sri Vasudeva in 1997 and inspired by his vision for well being, she created the Blue Star Centre for Healing in New York, which she currently runs.  She exudes passion for the healing arts and has worked her way to certification as a Reiki Master, spiritual counselor and practitioner. She teaches yoga in the New York centre and is a member of the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi (IITQC).  She continues to pursue degrees in natural medicine.

Do-In Yoga is a combination of Do-In and Yoga, which originates from the Japanese Dao-Yin and is said to be over 5000 years old. Do-In Yoga combines physical and energy exercises from Tai Chi, Qigong, Shiatsu and Martial Arts in a unique and modern way seeking to create balance in your energy meridian system, leaving you feeling better mentally and emotionally.  This practice is suitable for everyone; both healthy and those who are physically challenged!

Prabha is a certified Do-In Yoga teacher and has been trained in meditation and energy work with Sri Vasudeva. She is also certified in Reiki (Master-level), SPHE-RE, Quantum Touch and Shiatsu massage. She enjoys combing all of these practices into a holistic wellness regime.

For attending the workshops we ask for a donation of 100 TTD per workshop.

Lunch: A healthy lunch will be served between 12.30 and 1.30 pm. The price of the lunch is 50 TTD per day.

Afternoon program: Wellness treatments are available from 1 pm to 5 pm. Prices are listed below.

Evening program: From 6 to 6.30 pm you are welcome to join us for a silent meditation. Dinner is from 6.30 to 7 pm (please contact our office separately in case you would like to book dinner but do not have a room with us for the night). We will chant Shiva Mahimnah Stotram from 8 to 8.45 pm.

For this retreat our wellness team has put together a special package of treatments that you can do at a discount compared to our regular pricing, see the list below. More information about what these treatments entail can be found here. You may also book treatments on these days even when you do not attend the morning workshops.

Streaming

All morning workshops will be streamed live as well, for those who are not physically able to join us, through our Livestream and Facebook channels. To help us offset our expenses, we invite you to make a donation below!

Registration

Registration is required only for the morning workshop (physical attendance), lunch and wellness treatments. Registration takes place in two steps: (1) registration for the morning workshop and (2) registration for lunch and wellness treatments.

PLEASE NOTE that you may also book Wellness treatments or lunch even when you do not attend our morning workshops!

Step 1: Registration for morning workshop & lunch

Registration for one of more workshops will require you to pay 100 TTD per workshop you attend upon arrival (for your first workshop) at the ashram., and an additional 50 TTD for any lunch that you book. You can register by filling out the form below or by calling our Wellness Team at 770-6222. If you would like to book any accommodation, this can also be done by calling our ashram office on a first come first serve basis (our rooms are nearly full for this weekend).
