Our Centre

The Blue Star Centre is a full retreat centre with areas dedicated to Healing & Wellness, Yoga, Meditation, AMRIT Health Shop, Gift Shop and Main Administrative Office.  We provide a holistic environment where one can reach their full potential at all levels of being.  We strive to engage in humanitarian service while preserving and enhancing our natural environment, recognizing the Divine Principle existing in all of life.

We strive to keep a disciplined day in the centre which provides a beautiful structure to each day nurturing all parts of us from physical exercise to daily meditation.  All visitors are strongly encouraged to participate in the discipline to yield the most out of their stay.

Meditation

We have several times in the day for meditation. This beautiful ancient practice allows you to go deep within and connect to your inner source. In the morning there is a guided meditation, and throughout the day there is silent meditation.

Chanting

Chanting is a powerful energetic exercise and spiritual discipline. We start the day by chanting an ancient, sacred song, the Sri Guru Gita. We close our day with the chanting of the Shiva Mahimnah Stotram, another devotional song.

Yoga

There are yoga, qigong or exercise classes every morning, and personal one-on-one classes are available by appointment. The classes are taught by local and foreign certified yoga teachers, who practice according to the Blue Star teachings.

Seva (Selfless Service)

This is a time to give back to the community. It is a time where we work together to create a beautiful space. There are always many things to do – preparing food, cleaning, painting, gardening, chores, construction work and more. Our staff will guide you.

Sacred Conversations

During this time we discuss the teachings of Sri Vasudeva as well as other spiritual topics or challenges that may come up during our days. In this way we can deepen our understanding and strengthen our practice with each other’s support.

Food

When food is more natural, it gives the body more energy, and even the mind becomes better. The food served at the ashram is strictly vegetarian. All meals are well balanced, so your body gets all the nutrition it needs.
