Yesterday, Guruji spoke about the journey along the bindu path. We have the manas path and the bindu path, both from the brow. The brow gives us a split: we can focus on the external world or the internal one and the latter is the bindu path. Here we begin to feel a connection with the Divine, and we honor that connection by going deeper and deeper with the Divine to the crown. We don’t need to think about going to the crown, but just going step by step along that path and you’ll reach the crown. So how beautifully we are designed! We can focus on the external world while centered in the manas. If we are internally centered and externally focused at the same time, that is called shambavi mudra. You don’t need to practice that, it will come to you naturally.
Today, we speak a little bit more about the kriyas that will happen along the bindu path. This is a special set of kriyas. Now we are going deeper and deeper into witnessing and transformation of the ego. This is what happened during Guruji’s 40 Days, and he is giving us this opportunity now. But the ego is the challenge! It can be a stubborn obstacle, especially when we think we know! When we experience a little power along the manas, the ego can become so caught in its own opinions, thoughts, and ideas, it will even want to challenge the Divine. That is the most challenging part of the journey, to let go of the self-righteousness. We all think we know when we experience a little bit of this Divine knowledge, especially when we are those seekers in the jnana mode, the contemplation mode. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing!
What protected Guruji from this was his sadhana of the heart. When his manas became more powerful, he channeled love. He wanted to share. It was a joy to speak with such strength and authority but full of love. His sadhana was love and service. That held his ego in such a beautiful space, that when the 40 Days happened, it made his sadhana special.
So, what happens with those kriyas? When you think that you have overcome things, but you realize that the sacral is still challenging, taste is still challenging, sexuality is still challenging? When you realize that your craving for power is still there, you still want to compete with people, conquer them, but you are on the spiritual path, what happens? How do you deal with this? You thought you overcame this with your sadhana, but these ugly things begin to rear their heads. You begin to wonder if you are becoming impure. Why are sexual feelings still capturing you, why is taste still drawing you? You are feeling the spirituality, so what is happening here?
She is showing you the dregs that are remaining!. You can’t get further unless you clean this up. You can’t get into freedom without cleaning this up. She will tempt you with all the things in the space and challenge you. In Guruji’s last moment in the 40 Days, She challenged him and he said he was going to conquer this! The night before that, he didn’t have the power yet and bowed to the person confronting him, but the last night he said: “I have the power, I am the power!”, and his head split open! He felt completely in charge of his inner space. She challenged him even in the last moment!
So She will challenge our ego along the path. The sadhana has to be spotless and you need to focus on this. It is easier with a guide, as you tend to lose faith in yourself. This is the most critical sadhana on the journey. The transformation of the ego on the inner journey, losing its self-identity and merging in a whole new awareness of being. That is where it happens!
Those who are experiencing the crown and are still experiencing all these challenges, this is what you need to do. You need the Guru’s support, and you need the field. This is what Guruji is focused on in this stage in his life. Come and stay with him and let him show you the way. Then we can create a group of souls really powerful in love, wisdom, and humility.

Summary
- From the brow center, we can journey along the manas path, focused on the external world, and along the bindu path, going deeper and deeper within towards the crown, feeling more in connection with the Divine. We get deeper into witnessing and transformation of the ego until finally, we merge into a whole new awareness of being.
- This is a very challenging part of the journey as the ego can become a big obstacle, especially when it thinks that it knows and is caught up in its own ideas. We start to experience a little power and we can get caught up in this!
- Along this bindu path, kriyas will happen. We may wonder why suddenly things that we thought we overcame rear their ugly heads. Even though we feel the spirituality, we may get caught up in things like taste, sexuality, or power over others. She is showing us everything that we need to clean up and we cannot get to freedom without cleaning this up! She will tempt us and challenge us until the last moment.
- On this bindu path, it helps to be protected by the sadhana of the heart, and it helps to have a guide as we can lose faith or get caught up. You need the Guru’s support, and you need the field that he provides.
Enjoy the practices!
Love,
Prabha
(Each day, I’ll try to give some notes and a short summary of the main practices outlined in Guruji’s morning talk, shortly after the program finishes!)
