NEW YEAR MESSAGE 2010
A New Year is here, and with it the collective energy of change.
Will we ride that wave of collective energy? People across the world will be making resolutions. There is a fresh burst of energy. Would we ride that wave of collective energy and make another step to do what should be our priority: to first know ourselves and to connect with the Divine?
Do you remember the words of Jesus when he said, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all things will be added unto you?” Always set that priority as your first goal: making that divine connection. Don’t wait to form a connection with God. Do it now!
The goal of life is to heighten the consciousness. Not to change anything physical, but to improve the awareness of who you are and what the world is.
As we begin a New Year, let us keep that goal before us, to shift the awareness. The value of being in a human form is that only in this human form, with this brain and nervous system, can we ascend to a higher consciousness. Not in the form of a tree; not in the form of a dog; not in the form of a cow; not in the form of a horse; not in the form of a serpent, but in a human form. Do you see how blessed you are?
Your goal should be to shift the consciousness, to be more aware of who you are and what your world is. Among all the goals that you’ve created for the New Year – how much money you want to earn, what you want to build, the relationships you want to create – can you add this one? If you open up your awareness, you will relate better and create better relationships.
People may ask, “When will I get married? When will I acquire this or that?” But have they transformed their consciousness to the level to which they can attract that? This is important, because the world works with the law of attraction. Qualify yourself, become deserving and it will come towards you. Earn it and you will get it.
In 2010 Seek Wisdom
Do you know what the greatest purifier in life is? … Wisdom! The more you understand, the more aware you are, the more you can deal with any challenge. Think about this. The most powerful weapon in the human challenge is Wisdom. Seek it with all the power you have.
As you enter 2010, seek Wisdom. And remember the law of attraction, that we attract things towards us when we are deserving. When this is not happening, ask yourself, “Am I deserving?” When you are, it happens automatically. Life cannot hold it back.
Seek to be more deserving, more understanding, more aware. Seek Wisdom.
When you go before the Divine in your prayer, because you are always before the Divine, and you are asking for something, the most powerful thing you can ask for is Wisdom; because with understanding, with a higher consciousness, you can make anything happen.
When you understand the forces of life, when you understand the laws of the Universe, you can use them to achieve anything you want. For example, when you understand the power of spirit over matter, you can transform things in the body. When you understand the power of the spirit over emotions, over thoughts, you can make relationships work in the best possible way.
Many people want to change others before they themselves change. What do you think about that? They want us to not be angry, not be limited in our thinking, nor be subservient. But are they? We need to understand that everybody is on their own journey.
Some seeds, when put in the ground, will spring very quickly; others will take a longer time. Would you dig out the seeds that are taking longer, to ensure they are growing? If you are wise you wouldn’t. As a parent, would you expect all your children to be the same? Would you become angry when they are not?
Why can’t you understand that everybody in our world is different? And why can’t you adjust to working with everyone to bring out the best in them? That is what I do. Wisdom helps us to understand and to act appropriately. The most powerful gift we can ever receive is Wisdom.
In your asking for a boon or a gift, ask for Wisdom. It is a cleanser; it destroys undesirable karmic patterns. It takes us beyond limitation. Seek Wisdom.
