My Dear Ones,


It is a joy to walk into a gathering of friends and feel welcomed by their loving energy even before we speak. How powerful are intention and attention when given and received! I always say that such a group brings out the best in me. Whenever I meet and interact with any person or group my intention is always to offer the best that I can. I seek to be the best instrument in serving my Universe. As I give of myself and inspire others to open their hearts and minds to giving, I realize I also receive and I am uplifted in the receiving. What a wonderful gift this is, in the human experience. Though my intention is not focused on the receiving as I give I realize that my heart and mind are naturally open to receive. So, the one who gives is naturally blessed to receive.

As an analogy, if we open our hands to give they are naturally open to receive. The one with open hands, therefore, not only give but also receives. When the hands are closed and giving is withheld then the hands are also closed to receive. The same is with the mind and emotion. If we hold to ideas with closed minds and do not share then we do not enjoy the gift of new ideas or even better ones that can intuitively flow from the depth of our being or come from those around us. It is always a great joy for me to explore ideas with others in discussion. If I have a new idea I love to share it with others. Doing so, gives me an opportunity to express what I feel which gives greater clarity to my own thinking and opens my mind to even more ideas. In the sharing I receive.

If we look at emotional sharing, when we are loving to others we inspire them to become loving towards us. When we greet the world with love everyday we are more likely to be the receivers of love. Even when we speak with others who are caring and trustworthy pouring out our hearts we feel a lift in our being. Just sharing our burden with one who is compassionate and understanding can uplift us. In the sharing we receive.

If we were to look deeper into this idea we may begin to see that we are just instruments of a Source within that gives and receives. We open our hearts and minds to share the energy of this Source and the Source reciprocates through so many wonderful instruments around us. I will leave you with something to think about: It is Life that gives to Life and we are but the witness of this beautiful Drama. Let us open our hearts and minds to share at every opportunity.
