My Dear Ones,

Today, I would like to draw your attention to the power of silence. A power that is with us in every moment and yet it is overlooked. Silence, and here I refer to inner silence that has great power. If we can hold the mind is a state of quietness that is natural and comfortable whilst keeping an intense desire to know what lies beyond it, we can have the incredible experience of our Source. We will experience who we really are at the deepest level and develop the ability to control our thoughts and emotions. We have lost the ability to be silent. It is unfortunate that the mind which should be under our control; controls us so much. Emotions do as well. Can we train our mind and emotional being to be really quiet and peaceful so that we can experience the qualities of our Source? Our Source is one of our boundless peace, unconditional love, infinite wisdom and endless joy. Do we really want to experience this? If we do, then we will make the effort to curb the restless mind.

Silence also allows us to listen in a better way. We perceive more in communication with each other when silent. The intentions we overlook during speaking become more visible then. Our communication improves. When we are silent we tend to become more intuitive. More ideas flow from within. In silence we feel in contact with the Source of our being. We feel connected to the Universe. In this connection we feel safe, protected and guided.

How important it is to be silent yet we never take time to learn this essential discipline. Being silent is not being passive. It is being more attuned to everyone and everything around us. Meditation is a very valuable exercise in helping us to become silent and to manage the restless mind. Give attention and importance to this simple discipline. It brings great rewards to every aspect of our lives

Explore the possibilities of this discipline and what it can do for you. Remember your well being lies in your hands.

Yours in service,
Vasudeva (writing from Holland)
