My Dear Ones,
As we strive to co
create our future and to create a better world around us we need to be mindful
of another important entity in the human experience - the ego. We sometimes tend
to think of 'ego' as a negative element in our lives but a good ego that exists
in surrender draws the Grace that can lead us to true freedom. Our effort is to
give attention to the ego within us that strives to be a better person with good
qualities and avoids negative and destructive traits that may surface. Ultimately
the ego will be in the perfect relationship with the Self deep within as more
and more grace enters our lives.
The ego gives us the sense of 'I' in
the human experience. This can be very limited such as in persons who are body
consciousness and think only of themselves and can be expansive as in those whose
hearts and minds are so huge so as to accommodate the world around them. Keep
watch over your ego. Let it be a friend and not an enemy.
