Welcome to day 15 of our 40 Day Retreat 2009.
Yesterday, I spoke about, “The World Is As We Perceive It” and the world that we perceive is being perceived in our consciousness. Today, I want to continue with this theme because I think it is an important one. In fact my experiences are based on this, how I see the world, how I view the world and how I experience the world. It is based on what I am telling you.
We All Communicate In the Same Source
Today, I want to say to you that the whole Universe that we perceive and that we interact with is all within us. I need to explain this because this brings us to the point that we are Omnipresent Beings. The very Source within us is everywhere in the universe. When we communicate with others we are really doing so in the same Source where we all co-exist in the now. This requires deep thought. I want you to be aware of it and to consider it as you have more and more experiences.
You Experience the World Inside of You
Whenever you are having any sensual experiences of the world, by sensual I mean experiences of the senses, the experience of pleasure or pain, it is happening inside of you. If you look from a physical point of view it is happening in your nervous system. Your brain and nervous system is having an experience from all the information that is coming to the senses, it is happening inside of you. When you think you are experiencing a star out in the Universe, you are really experiencing that star inside of you because the image is being created inside of you and the experience is inside of you.
When you are experiencing some kind of a contact with another person that experience is happening in your brain and nervous system, it is happening inside of you and your inner self is observing it on the inside. The whole world that you perceive is a happening, an experience inside of your being, and your inner being, your very Source - Being. Your essential being, is having this experience on the inside. This is important to think about.
The physical world gives us the sense of distance. When we look about the physical world we see distances. Everything that we see exists in the same Source that is within, and at the level of the Source, it is dimensionless. Sometimes I like to draw a triangle to show that at the very base of the triangle where there is a point that indicates the Source of Being that is infinite. As you come up the triangle you see more and more distance. Finally the top of the triangle is the physical you or the physical universe that is being held by a Source that comes to a point and then exists in an invisible field. The whole idea is the universe is created from a point, it diverges from a point and it is supported by this Source that is infinite. That is called the Bindu point in the ancient wisdom of India. We will talk more about that later on.
Physical and Energetic Displacement
The physical universe gives us the idea of space, the idea that we are all spatially distributed. We all exist in a space being distant from each other, some further some closer. Inside this physical body is an energy body, an energy identity that we have. Of course I am going to elaborate on this energy identity because our 40-Day retreat is based on Energy Awareness and Mastery. That energy is coming from a Source–Being, where everything co-exists; a dimensionless space where everything co-exists.
The energy body creates a different kind of distribution. We are displaced energetically. It is like an energy spectrum, where some of us vibrate at a lower level, some of us vibrate at a higher level, and we are displaced energetically.
At the very core of our being we are where everything is. If I am communicating with you, my communication is more powerful when I go inside to communicate with you rather than just visually. Visual gives the idea that you are outside of me. You are separate from me.
Omnipresence: Meeting Energetically In A Compatible Place
For example those of you who are looking at me on the internet; you may think you are thousands of miles away, that is only physically. Energetically you are displaced from me only by the energy of the consciousness that you are carrying, but we can meet energetically if we are to lift our energies to a compatible place. Then we are meeting in the same Source, at the very core of our Being. I am exactly where you are in Source, no space, no time. I am exactly where you are in the Source, in the now. Energetically we are displaced based on the energies of our energy body, physically we are displaced, but in Source – Being we are not displaced.
If I go within my being and I bring your form inside of me and we can vibrationally come to a place where we are compatible with each other. You will be feeling me as though I am there with you because my Source – Being is exactly where your Source- Being is. Energetically when we come together we are actually touching each other, it does not matter where you are in this physical universe. That is magnificent, that is Omnipresence. We can touch each other if we become energetically compatible no matter where we are physically.
That is why I say that when you are around Beings who are more evolved in the consciousness try to go within to experience them. Try to go within, not just in the physical form because you will feel displaced, energetically try to tune into them. Try to lift your consciousness, or become more aware and lift your energy. When their energy begins to surround you, try to experience it and try to come up to that level. Soon enough you will actually feel that, that Being and you are one.
Examples of Energetic Compatibility
If you take some simple examples those people whom you are compatible with, consider the communication with them. You can have a family member or a friend thousands of miles away in a different country and you begin to think of them. Suddenly, you begin to feel as though the communication is becoming deeper and you want to think of them more. Then you really get into a place where you begin to think so strongly that you can actually feel that some kind of communication is taking place and before you know it, the phone rings and there is that person speaking to you. How does it happen? You are so far away all you did was come together thought-wise and suddenly you felt each other so deeply as though you were physically present and you want to take the phone to continue the communication at the physical level. If you think about that then there is a lot in there in terms of communication.
First because it is your family or your friend there is some compatibility energy-wise, that is how we become friends, because that compatibility is there and energetically we are compatible. That brings us closer together in energy body. As you begin to give attention to that and strongly hold the person in your Being that person begins to feel it wherever they are and that draws the physical response.
Separateness Outside, Unity Inside
The whole world is inside of you; energetically you can communicate with any Being around you that is compatible to your energies. Though the physical universe looks distant in the inner space we are there together and in the Source we are all one. The whole world that we are experiencing is inside of us. We open the eyes and we look at the world we see separateness but when we go inside we feel more unity. That is why it is important to begin to experience the universe on the inside that brings for more oneness and more compatibility. The more we look on the outside the more diverse it is and the more separate we are. The more we look from the inside we begin to feel and to experience the universe differently as though it is a part of our Being.
Possibilities of Omnipresence
This is the experience we get as we go deeper into the consciousness. This is an invitation to you to go deeper in your consciousness, to use the power of observing in the consciousness, observe what is happening, and observe from the deepest level of your Being. Begin to see what is there inside and explore the experience of the universe from an inner space. These are the possibilities you have on the inside and these are the possibilities of Omnipresence.
This is how I feel when I go to different countries and I leave, I do not feel that I am leaving. When I meet different people and I leave them physically I do not feel ever feel that I am leaving because energetically we are close and in the Source we are one so there is no question of leaving. That brings a powerful dimension to friendship and it brings a powerful dimension to student-teacher relationship. It brings a powerful dimension to unity in our world. Let us connect from the inside.
Jump from Physical Identification to Source – Being
All of this requires shifting the awareness. It is not going to happen if you are physically stuck; if your consciousness is stuck to the material dimension you are not going to experience this. We need to jump from the physical identification to another place inside, to your energy being; to energy awareness and then you will become closer to the energies of your universe. As you travel more in the energy dimension and there are several levels in the energy dimension that I will speak about, you come closer and closer to Source – Being where you will feel in oneness with the universe. The mastery is there when you feel established in the Source and you can traverse all the different dimensions fearlessly.
When you are established in the Source, (I have been speaking about the turiya state) even in the physical dimension, you can feel the essential unity of Being. There is no fear anymore, you do not fear to die nor do you fear any challenges in the material world, when you are established in that Source.
Transcending Conflicts to More Refined Levels of Joy
Isn’t it worth everything to experience the inner space? Then why do you stay in the physical identity only and have so much conflicts with everybody because you are seeing them physically only. You are not trying to become more and more compatible energetically, you are not trying to understand the energies nor are you trying to understand the degree of communication that can be had when we go deep within ourselves. We are so focused on the physical only. That is where all the conflicts begin because we become so physically identified, the color of our skin becomes important, the tone of our voice becomes important, the possessions become important, and everything that is physical becomes important.
When we go into the world of energy there is a different kind of importance there. Ultimately if we go to more and more refined levels the joy is greater and ultimately when we can touch our Source – Being there we become free. Amazing isn’t it? The whole key to all of this is going inside to deeper levels of consciousness and to the experience of deeper levels of energy. That is where the key is, going inside. I leave you with that today and we continue this talk tomorrow, the amazing experiences of inner exploration. That is what this whole retreat is about.
Affirmation from Meditation
I begin my day centered in the Source of my Being. I stay centered there that my every thought, word and action will be a blessing to my world. I give thanks for all the blessings I have received and I pray that I will continue to be worthy. Let there be peace everywhere in every dimension. Let there be peace. Peace, peace, peace.
Post Meditation Remarks
As you go deeper and deeper even that affirmation will feel differently because you will think of your Source differently. You will think of thoughts, words and actions differently in the energy space. You will think about gratitude and being worthy and desire to continue to be worthy and you will want to wish peace to your entire world. That little affirmation will become more sacred and special to you as it is to me as you deepen your awareness
