Is the body part of the source?

Sri Vasudeva:
The physical body is not part of you. It is governed by its own field of intelligence. It is governed by the genes of the cells. The program for the cells are there, not in you. The program within you in the causal field is what is going to determine your life. In the same way, the causal field for the cells is what influences their life. There is only so much you can do to impact the cells, because they have their own genetic program. My causal field has the information that that relates to my “I”. The cells have their own causal field; their field is not my field. If I want to influence a cell, I have to influence the intelligence of that cell.

For example, if I want to create a change within you, I have to influence your thinking. The same with the cells, I have to influence their pattern of action and being. I have to say “hey, you guys, you have to think differently, you have to do this.”

The waking state: a longer dream?
When you dream, events in the dream seem to be real. When you wake up you realize it is unreal. You are not fulfilled by the things in the dream. The same happens in the waking state: the things we go after don’t seem to fulfill us. So is that indicating that we are searching for something in the waking state that is not there? And that it might be somewhere else? The waking state is just like a dream you are chasing after, something that is not even real. It seems to have a kind of reality that is not fulfilling.
So is that indicating that perhaps we need to search for it somewhere else?
